1. Get accepted as a host

Host access is opening through a waitlist. Leave your email on the home page to hear when access opens. Joining the waitlist does not automatically approve your computer as a host.

You must be at least 18 years old and be in a supported country. Your computer and connection must pass the host eligibility checks before you can complete enrollment.

2. Install the node software

Once accepted, install Nodvian Node on a Windows or macOS computer, or an Ubuntu Linux server. Sign in, select the storage you want to provide, and connect the machine to your host account.

The setup checks available storage, download and upload speed, latency, and whether your node is online. After a successful eligibility check, you receive a continuation code to complete enrollment. The code expires after 30 minutes.

Keep your computer connected to power and the internet. Sleep mode, shutting down, or disconnecting will take your node offline. Your host dashboard shows node status, storage measurements, and connection health.

3. Make $9 per TB you provide

The hosting rate is $9 per TB of storage you provide. At that rate, 1 TB corresponds to $9, 2 TB to $18, and 5 TB to $45.

Keep the allocated storage available and your node online. The payment period, payout schedule, payment methods, and how availability affects earnings will be specified in the host terms before you start hosting.

What your node stores

Nodvian uses independent host computers to provide regional storage for developer projects. Your node contributes the space you allocate to the network and stores encrypted project data.

Node enrollment keys connect your computer to your account and can be revoked. Keep those keys private. Use your host dashboard to monitor your connected computers.

Current host eligibility supports Iraq, United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Germany, France, Netherlands, United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Australia, Japan, and Singapore.
